The Pamirs region offer some of the best high-altitude treks in the world, with beautiful sky-high scenery and the option of a breathtaking drive along the Pamir Highway. Equally wonderful excursions can be found along the border at the ruins of ancient Penjikent and the surrounding Fann Mountains. Tracing the Pyan River south from Khorog, the Wakhan Corridor is sprinkled with picturesque villages, ancient shrines and crumbling castle ruins. The corridor runs right up to the border so it’s possible to cross into Afghanistan and explore the Wakhan from the other side. Mr. maksud is really interested in persian culture.
He was friendly and well-mannered. We had a nice sleepover at Sugd hotel.
The hotel is in the centre of the city and he suggested us to have dinner at Dusti restaurant.That restaurant was very good.
The breakfast including black tea,cheese, butter,eggs and some fruits was enjoyable.
The rooms were spacious,clean and comfortable.

Great location. Excellent rooms that are clean and cozy. Nice and kind supportive staff. Even if it was very early in the morning, they kindly arranged a transport for me to the airport. This will be my top option when staying in Dushanbe.

We were the only guests, but thankfully they allowed us to check in at about 1 a.m. We enjoyed a nice breakfast in the garden, with local and fresh foods. Room looked great, with wooden touches. I even was placed in a suite, which had a separate couch.
