The Pamirs region offer some of the best high-altitude treks in the world, with beautiful sky-high scenery and the option of a breathtaking drive along the Pamir Highway. Equally wonderful excursions can be found along the border at the ruins of ancient Penjikent and the surrounding Fann Mountains. Tracing the Pyan River south from Khorog, the Wakhan Corridor is sprinkled with picturesque villages, ancient shrines and crumbling castle ruins. The corridor runs right up to the border so it’s possible to cross into Afghanistan and explore the Wakhan from the other side. English and russian speaking,very kind and very helpful staff. Accompanied us also to OVIR to help with the obligatory registration. Room was very nice, new and clean. Excelent location close to airport. 24h reception, we had no problem to check-in at 3 a.m.

We were the only guests, but thankfully they allowed us to check in at about 1 a.m. We enjoyed a nice breakfast in the garden, with local and fresh foods. Room looked great, with wooden touches. I even was placed in a suite, which had a separate couch.

The location is awesome and right in the place where one can have a lot of options to explore. Also a great view to explore from the higher floors.
Also the reception staff members are very polite and helpful and really worth mentioning their names - "Rahmon" met twice the time I stayed there and he is very kind and helpful to support wherever needed. Indeed a beautiful and hygiene place to stay. Strongly recommended

We recently stayed at Baland Hotel Dushanbe, and it was an excellent experience! The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from downtown, with plenty of cafes and restaurants around. The hospitable staff made us feel right at home, always ready to assist with a smile.
We stayed in an apartment studio room, which was spacious and well-designed, featuring a double bedroom and a king-size bedroom. It was perfect for our needs, offering both comfort and privacy. The service provided was top-notch, and we were overall very satisfied with our stay.
Breakfast was another highlight—delicious and satisfying, a great start to our days. We highly recommend Baland Hotel Dushanbe to anyone visiting the city. We will definitely be returning on our next trip!

I have stayed in many hotels, but Kangurt Hotel has truly exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the reception I was greeted by friendly staff who instantly made me feel at home and cared for. Almost everyone speaks multiple languages, which made my stay even more comfortable and easy. As for the room it was simply perfect! Spacious, clean, and with a breathtaking view. Every detail was carefully thought out to ensure guest comfort. I was impressed by the attention to small touches: from the cozy bed to the little design elements that made the atmosphere even more inviting. But the biggest highlight for me was the breakfast! I’ve traveled a lot and stayed in various hotels, but I’ve never had such a delicious and diverse breakfast before. Fresh fruits, aromatic pastries… all of this made my stay truly unforgettable. A special thank you to the staff for their care and attention — they really go above and beyond to make every guest feel special.
