We had a very lovely stay and enjoyed the desert . Especially the quiet time under the stars was amazing. The tent had every comfort needed. Everything was brand new and neet. Our breakfast while watching the sunrise in the desert was priceless. Amer was very friendly and experienced guide. This place is definetly worth visiting!

Though not in the middle of desert it is surrounded by dunes.. For me comfort of this place is top notch than staying in a tent in the middle of the desert

A fantastic location with breathtaking views, clean rooms, and extremely friendly service from all the staff. The food is delicious and offers a wide variety of options. Khalid and I took a desert trip to explore the desert, and it was an amazing experience.

Everything was superb. Ahmed is a friendly and hospitable host, always available to help with anything. Rooms were big, clean and smelled fresh. Location is great for trips, cheap eateries and supermarkets within a short drive. Fully equipped (incl oil, salt, tea and coffee) shared kitched.

Nice owner, delicious breakfast. Really wonderful experience. Great safari on dunes with excellent pilot of Toyota Land Cruiser! I felt safe and relaxed.

Our room was beautiful; very charming and clean. We were suprised that it was quit specious. The bed was super comfy (we had great 2 nights sleep). They even provided board games which was appreciated by our little son. The staff was so friendly; the food was also amazing considering we were in the desert. We would highly recommend this accomodation!

Our stay at Sunset Domes Premium was the highlight of our trip. We truly enjoyed our time. Being there felt like a refreshing break from the outside world. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was warm and cozy. Most importantly, our host Ali was wonderful and really embodied the true Omani spirit. We highly recommend it.

Good location, very clean and friendly / accommodating staff

​Staying at this hotel felt like living in the beautiful old Oman era. I absolutely loved the authentic design featuring charming details like wooden roofs, lumber beds, stone sinks, magnificent log reception desk and the massive Castle in the middle. ​The hospitality was just as impressive. The staff were incredibly polite, and the reception was open 24 hours, making us feel very cared for. The cafe serves high-quality coffee, I particularly loved the Cappuccino and Mocha. ​Breakfast was exceptionally tasty with very fast servicel. I highly recommend ordering the Omani tray it was delicious.

We stayed here for 2 days, which still didn't feel like enough! A place you can comfortably spend without leaving - amazing domes as living space and bedroom with built in shower and bath tub. Very comfortable, fully air conditioned and ample space around the fenced place to enjoy barbeque, relaxing under the tent or then sliding down the dune using the sledges provided! There is even a ladder built so it's easier to climb up the dune - very handy! Fully equipped kitchen as well, with every single thing you could require. Probably the best equipped kitchen I've come across! They even have bbq items available if you wish to do a bbq yourself, which we took full advantage of :) The location is easy to reach as well and not so far deep into the desert, so if you need to pop out for supplies you can comfortably do so, as it is just a 5 min drive to the town full of shops. It is ideal for a couple, however they do provide mattresses and additional pillows that the caretaker can set up for you in the living room dome, so you can go as a family or larger group also.
