There are a number of available options for a stay in a desert in the area, but Fyafy camp is a top choice from our experience. First, the location, it is deep enough into the desert, which offers a very dark night sky perfect for star gazing. We had a fun drive to the camp with a 4x4 car escorted by our host. The camp is already in quite high dunes and right besides the very scenic ones, which offered fantastic scenery both to experience and feel the atmosphere and for the photographs. If you look for a private camp (three tents), to fully immerse in the atmosphere it is a perfect choice as it felt like we had the whole desert for ourselves. The camp is set up with a lot of attention to the details, offers comfort, and is very beautifully designed, fantastic for photography enthusiasts in how beautifully the tents blend into the environment. It was a really nice touch that we could sleep under the night sky as we preferred (there was a dedicated mattress provided for this in the tent). As well, both the dune bashing and the Camel ride activities were available, we have tried both and was definitely worth it, it has really added to the experience. Amer is a fantastic host, and made our stay very welcome from the assistance for the arrival, to stories on Omani culture. Very smooth communication. For the activities and in general didn't feel pushy, but rather open and making us feel at home. As well, if you are looking for parfum, Amer can recommend you a great shop, as we very much liked the smell of the one he was wearing. If you are choosing a camp and may feel overwhelmed by the options, I can only recommend to look no further as everything to the details was top and with comfort and has made it a highlight of our trip.

Beautiful location, Irfan was a great host who picked us up, went for a sunset walk and prepered us delicuous food.

Alsaif camp was probably one of the best accommodations I’ve ever stayed at and I travel quite frequently. The villas are beautiful and the value for money is excellent. You get a private swimming pool, good AC, a spacious room with a large TV, and in-room dining and breakfast (for an additional fee). After the dinner, the owner took us to a campfire in the dunes behind the accommodation where he explained us the history of Oman while serving us tea and stargazing. Simply unforgettable. We also purchased a sunrise tour and we were picked up at 5:50 am sharp. Another big plus is the location. The villas are right at the edge of the village — literally where the road ends and the desert begins — so we could drive there with our regular car and park right in front of the villa. No need for a 4x4 or expensive transfers like I’ve seen in some other places. I’m so happy we chose this place. The team was super responsive on WhatsApp whenever we needed anything. Can’t recommend it enough!

‏The place is absolutely enchanting. We were warmly welcomed, and the journey was incredibly enjoyable until we arrived at the campsite where we were served authentic Omani coffee and fruit. For dinner, we were presented with several delicious Omani dishes, expertly prepared by a professional chef. Afterwards, there was a campfire where Khalid told us stories about the desert and history, and explained the meaning of the stars. It was a perfect night. Thank you, Khalid.

Nice owner, delicious breakfast. Really wonderful experience. Great safari on dunes with excellent pilot of Toyota Land Cruiser! I felt safe and relaxed.

We had a wonderful night in the Dome. The staff was very attentive! The food was really good! The scenery is breathtaking and the dome is super cozy! We had the opportunity to go on a sunset safari and the next day a camel ride and quad biking at sunrise! The dome is really like the photos! I recommend it 100%!

​Staying at this hotel felt like living in the beautiful old Oman era. I absolutely loved the authentic design featuring charming details like wooden roofs, lumber beds, stone sinks, magnificent log reception desk and the massive Castle in the middle. ​The hospitality was just as impressive. The staff were incredibly polite, and the reception was open 24 hours, making us feel very cared for. The cafe serves high-quality coffee, I particularly loved the Cappuccino and Mocha. ​Breakfast was exceptionally tasty with very fast servicel. I highly recommend ordering the Omani tray it was delicious.

Nice camp and we did some activities and we had the camp owner Issa himself accompany us with the sunset from the top of the sand and we enjoyed driving Issa he was cooperative with us and a very nice person I recommend visiting the camp and doing the activities there and we saw the little camels and thank you

Its an awesome hotel to stay at, it was not only the facilities, that were clean, comfortable and modern but also it was the whole experience and atmosphere, also the hospitality and kindness of the owner was amazing.
