Located on Malta Island, the ancient capital city of Valletta is described by UNESCO as ‘one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world’. Like a fine wine, the city has improved with age; its Roman Catholic cathedral flanked by an array of museums, shopping areas and 16th-century mansions converted into bars and restaurants. Other must-see attractions include the Hypogeum – a prehistoric burial site unearthed in 1902 – and the Megalithic temples which can be observed on both Malta and Gozo island. Malta’s rural beauty makes it perfect for all sorts of activities, such as hiking along the Gozo coast, sailing past secluded caves or diving amongst shipwrecks. If you’d rather ride a wave than dive below one, then numerous surfing spots are available, including Palm Beach, St. Thomas and Ghallis on the north shores of Malta. Comino is Malta’s smallest island but still worth a visit by any means. Its main draw is the Blue Lagoon – a huge pool of crystal-clear water on the uninhabited islet of Cominotto. The personnel were very polite and helpful. The hotel is in a perfect spot. The ferry to Valletta is less than 5 minutes away. The building is really old and historical , rooms are spacious with high ceilings and beds are huge and very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing and the rooftop pool has just stunning views.

Everything was amazing! We were lucky enough to be among the first guests at the guesthouse, and we can't wait to come back. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The room design was perfect - everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, from the abundance of outlets, fresh towels and robes, to the beautifully scented shampoo and body wash. The hot tub on the balcony was surely the star of the stay, helping us relax and enjoy our stay to the fullest. Truly a great find!

This is probably the best hotel experience we had on a vacation, so far.
Mia and Ryan are extremly service minded and gave many good tips about what to see and where to go.
The location is very good with short walking distance to the center of Valletta and a couple of Minimarkets nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at AX Hotel in Rabat, Malta. The healthy breakfast was amazing, with lots of fresh options that set us up perfectly for the day. The gym and wellness area were a big plus, modern and well-equipped. What really stood out was the super friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The location is excellent – just a short walk to the Medina – and the hotel even provided us with free bicycles, which we used for a memorable trip to the cliffs. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a perfect base to explore Malta.

View from room and location were exceptional. We had several queries before and during our stay and the owners replied to our WhatApps messages really quickly. Lovely free standing bath in our room & plenty of hot water whatever the time. Complimentary drinks trolley in the ground floor lobby. Powerful a/c. Super comfy bed, great linen.
