Hotels in Fiji

I loved my stay in Wayalailai. The enviroment there was amazing and we met a lot of incredible people! Food was good (although sometimes was difficult to find healthy food as they cook with lots of sauces). As it is kind of a resort but cheaper, it is very suitable for backpackers and people travelling on a budget what made us meet plenty of people our age. They offer yummy fruit in every meal which is amazing (none of the resorts we stayed before offer that amount of fruit). They also helped us organise our trip back to the mainland for a cheaper price than the main companys which operate in the islands.

If I could give this 11 out of 10 I would. What I love most about this gem of a hotel is that it doesn’t feel like you’re at a hotel or a resort, but like you’re staying in a super glamorous private home of your super glamorous friend. We stayed for 5 days, and it was heaven. They pick you up from the airport, with the super friendly Rueben, and then you get swept into this garden jungle paradise with lovely romantic burres (you feel like you’re in a Taylor Swift music video) in the middle of a jungle / bush tranquility. There’s a bar and great restaurant on site - and if you can’t find anyone at the bar to make you a drink you can just WhatsApp the manager and they’ll bring drinks to you - and a great pool and fantastic location to the airport. But hands down the best part is the host, the owner Mrs B, who is quite possibly one of the most exceptional hosts & all round superstars we’ve ever met. She went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing time, from organising Fijian curry to be made that night at the restaurant so we could try it, to making sure breakfast stayed open late when we slept in, and just hanging out and having incredible chats. She’s absolutely phenomenal and made our visit super magical. She’s a true star.

The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and makes your stay warm and welcoming. The chef went above and beyond to exceed my expectations, accommodating my dietary needs and making small modifications to the menu so that I could enjoy the meals just as much as the rest of my group did. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and I had the pleasure of sharing the space with people from different parts of the world, all of whom were friendly and easy to get along with. The sports equipment provided by the resort is in excellent condition and very convenient. The sunset hike was a thrilling adventure, and I would recommend wearing long pants and reaching the summit, as the view is definitely worth it. Reef hopping is just a 15-minute boat ride from the island, and our guide made sure that everyone was safe and having a good time. The caves are also a must-see attraction, but be prepared for the chilly water! Sally

Lovely spotless suite with washer/dryer, large bedroom and cosy kitchenette and living room. Very comfortable living and location was perfect and handy to everything. Pool was very nice and very clean. Very secure complex.

Great location, good restaurant and very nice dtaff

White Sandy Beach Dive Resort has an amazing beachfront location with clear water, great snorkeling, and beautiful sunsets. The vibe is very social and relaxed, perfect for meeting other travelers. Food was excellent with generous island-style meals, and Fijian night was a highlight. Rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Staff are super friendly and helpful with transfers and activities. Cash-only and no ATMs (normal for the Yasawas), but great value for money and a truly authentic Fiji experience. Would definitely stay again 🌴🇫🇯
