Everything was dreamy perfect. It is literally in the jungle where all the sounds mellow your soul. Most beautiful and peaceful place I stayed in the country.owners are super friendly and helpful. You could feel like an explorer and be in a cozy place in the same time.

Top top top hotel. Marc is a fantastic host. His place is amazing. The pool is something. So confortable, peaceful and relaxing in the middle of the jungle. We had the chance to see a monkey familly. We highly recommand Marc place. Thanks a lot.

The last two days of our vacation, before flying to Liberia, we stayed at this beautiful, newly built hotel. It was impeccably clean, and the rooms were well-finished and welcoming. The owners were fantastic, friendly, and truly very nice. They helped us with advice on both local beaches and restaurants. Breakfast was freshly cooked with fresh ingredients.

The property, a charming hotel, boasts a breathtaking view, a thoughtfully designed layout, and wonderfully quiet surroundings. You’ll be welcomed by one of the friendliest hosts you could ever meet and treated to some of the finest food in Costa Rica. To top it all off, a resident sloth next door adds a uniquely delightful touch to the entire experience.

Our visit to this lodge was unforgettable!The rooms and all the property have a very special charm:) Everything was clean and very much thought about. We enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was amazing and plenty, they cooked eggs from their own chickens! Owners' hospitality was exceptional, it was pleasure to meet such a wonderful couple! We hike the trails and visited hot springs pool nearby. Highly recommend this place for families and couples, you will not regret:)

Next to the fact that the location is simply wonderful, filled with lush greenery and birds, an oasis of tranquility, Joe and Isa, the hosts, are warm people and truly care for their guests. They immediately make you feel at home upon arrival. The location is spot clean, all details in place. The hosts cater to all your needs, you really feel treated like a queen and king. Joe and Isa have a background in the food industry, which you can see in the breakfast. Tasteful, seasoned, fresh and original platters, prepared with love. Would 100% recommend to couples looking for a relaxing atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of touristy Tamarindo.

Great host. The Place is just a few steps away from Pavones point. Great location for Somebody who surf. Excellent wifi.

The room - oh my god!!! This was the best room we have ever stayed in!!! The hospitality was amazing - all the staff had smiles on their faces and always greeted us whenever we passed by :) The entire property is beautiful and the hot pools are amazing! The massage at the spa was the best we have had - definitely recommended!

We stayed at La Prometida in Puerto Viejo for three wonderful nights last week. We were absolutely impressed by both the accommodation and the hospitality of Selva. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail: from the fresh coffee delivered to our door every morning (complete with adorable heart-shaped chocolates on Valentine's Day - a lovely touch!), to the stunning Ibiza-style interior of the villas themselves. This stay will definitely remain one of the highlights of our 15-day holiday. In short, a true paradise tucked away in a quiet side street of the breathtaking Playa Negra. An absolute must!
