Beautifully appointed, boutique apartment. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food at the FishPot and we were helped to arrange a last minute snorkel trip. We stayed at a large resort prior to moving to Little Good Harbour and LGH was our favourite of the two by far.

The amenities and the customer experience was impeccable.

We had the perfect stay at South Gap hotel. I was slightly nervous of the noise levels looking at previous reviews, but with an ocean view room this wasn’t a problem for us at all. The rooms were made up everyday, the bed was huge and comfy and we loved our sundowners on the balcony! The food and drinks were also great. Really can’t fault our stay.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The location was quiet and the sea with little beach was nearby. I loved the place! the rooms were clean and spacious. You can take a taxi or bus to the west for a small price

Room was somewhat dated, but clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Also felt safe as there was a security guard 24/7 with lots of cameras being monitored throught the property. AC was excellent, and with remote, very easy to adjust to our comfort level. Pools were well maintained. Restaurant was very nice, with ample choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices were reasonable. Staff were very friendly. Complimentary afternoon tea was a nice added touch. Good location at the southern end of St. Lawrence Gap. This kept us away from the numerous restaurants and bars further to the north, so it was quiet at night. We will be back in Barbados in 2026 and will book again at Southern Palms.

Where to start... this is a really unique place. It's location beside the ocean is breathtaking, yet serene and soothing. Not a sound other than the crashing waves and birdsong. A lovely breeze from the ocean tempers the heat. The resort's layout and architecture is particularly attractive; spaces to meander, sit and read. I'd really recommend the restaurant and bar; food, staff and ambiance are marvellous. There was live music some nights, really nice vibe. The menu is quite varied, and beautifully cooked. Beds are extremely comfortable, rooms are clean and spacious. All.rooms seem to have some view of the sea. It's family owned and run. Most remarkable of all is the genuine warm welcome from the owners, who go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and making the most of your stay. Without being over bearing, on numerous occasions, they surprised us by doing something special for us. We were introduced to fellow guests who had returned for a total chill out experience. We felt we were leaving behind friends.

The staff were wonderful, so very attentive and always with a warm smile.

The staff is beyond exceptional. The reviews regarding staff was why we booked Sugar Bay and they exceeded our expectations. We can’t say enough about how dedicated they are. The resort is the perfect size. It’s only 3 stories so you can take the stairs if you wish and the beach and restaurants are not overrun by guests. The housekeeping woman we had took great pride in cleaning our room and placed beautiful hibiscus in our room. The extra touches are always appreciated. The beach was beautiful as long as seaweed didn’t come on shore as the staff did not clean it up. The food was exceptional. Every night there was something different which was really nice. Also Collin’s restaurant opens daily for lunch offering a daily special, fish, burgers, hotdog, etc. There are 2 specialty restaurants UMI and Sizzle that can be booked and are both excellent.

The property is ideally located on a beautiful beach and has great access to the very safe and welcoming area of St Lawrence Gap where you can really get involved in the local nightlife. The suites were immaculately clean and extremely well appointed. All 4 restaurants serve great quality food from fine dining to more beach bar fare available. The biggest stand out feature of this hotel though are it’s staff who cannot do enough for you during your stay. Every single member of staff from Housekeeping to the bar staff to the guys that look after the beach like Gino are exceptional. Our experience ambassadors Abigail and Shiloh were absolutely first class and arranged a number of trips, reservations and transport for us during our stay with consummate professionalism. Big thanks also to Dwayne, Ronaldo, Karlos and Darrien who are exceptional bar staff and genuinely nice guys. You absolutely cannot go wrong staying here. We were here for 2 weeks and has been the only hotel in our experience where we were genuinely sorry to leave by the end of the holiday.

It was a delightful stay from March 5th to the 7th. I would encourage anyone going to Barbados to give it a try. Immaculately cleaned, light, airy exquisitely installed. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 20 Apt 16 Pamela Sorhaindo
