At the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Azerbaijan has a cocktail of cultures drawing from its eastern and western influences. Steeped in mystery and history, you’ll uncover sacred temples, cave paintings and stories of myth and legend strewn throughout this ancient land. The capital of Baku has a historic core surrounded by a stylish shell, epitomised by its towering trio of skyscrapers, the Flame Towers. A cool breeze wades over the city from the Caspian Sea during colder months, while summers are hot and dry. The Old City (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is the city’s walled fortress, holding many treasures within. You can explore the area on foot in a day, stopping off at sights like the Palace of the Shirvan Shahs and Maiden’s Tower. Outside of Baku, the Gobustan National Park is a mystical site filled with giant boulders, and natural and manmade caves. As you descend into the age-old dens, you’ll observe thousands of rock engravings and art dating back 40,000 years. Many chain hotels can be found in Baku, but accommodations are harder to come by in the rest of the country.

I had an amazing stay at Nizami Central Park, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff at the reception, who made check-in seamless and welcoming. Their warmth and helpfulness truly set the tone for my stay.
The rooms were a standout feature. They were immaculately clean, spacious, and well-designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and functionality. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness was impressive. I also appreciated the modern amenities provided, ensuring that I had everything I needed during my visit.
One of the best aspects of this hotel is its unbeatable location. Situated in the heart of the city, Nizami Central Park is surrounded by a variety of attractions, restaurants, and shops, all within walking distance. Whether you’re looking to explore cultural landmarks or indulge in local cuisine, everything is conveniently close by.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is warm and inviting, making it feel like a home away from home. The combination of excellent service, great facilities

Guest review
We booked the hotel for 4 nights and were planning to move to another hotel in Baku, a direct competitor.
But after just 1 night we abandoned the plan and decided to stay 6 more days at Four Seasons Baku. It’s that good.
The hotel is excellent. The service is obsessively personalized. You don’t even have to ask — sometimes you don’t even think or know what you need — but they do, and they deliver.
Breakfasts are not just good, they are amazing. Almost too good. We tried many local foods and combinations.
When I needed a professional medical massage for pain relief, they found a specialist with the right experience.
Whatever we needed or wanted, it seemed like the words “no” and “sorry” simply weren’t in the FS Baku team’s vocabulary.
The Zafferano restaurant is quite pricey, but that’s more of a feature than a problem: a single dish costs more than a full dinner in the city, but you get calm, privacy, and a personal approach. You understand exactly what you’re paying for.
A lot can be said, but in the end the only real way to understand it is to experience it yourself: Four Seasons is the place to stay in Baku if you want a smooth, seamless, extra-comfortable trip.
Special thanks to:
- Anar — the reason we prolonged our stay. He took initiative and personal responsibility to demonstrate the hotel’s trust and interest, and it made all the difference.
- Shamil — the true star of personalization and care. He seemed to know everything and managed to surprise us even in the final days of our stay. Depending on our mood, he always delivered.
- Nijat — we rarely saw him, but he was clearly aware of everything going on, keeping his finger on the pulse.
- Ali, Orhan, Vusal, and many others always delivered top-notch service with great attention to detail.
We’re definitely coming back.
