Both dinner and breakfast were cooked by the owner, and everything was super tasty and more than enough to eat. They even asked us if we had any food restrictions or allergies, which was a really thoughtful touch. Even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay, we still got to go kayaking around the bay and pass by the nearby fishing village, which made it even more memorable. If you’re looking for something authentic and a bit different from the usual hotels, I’d definitely recommend spending a night here. It’s simple but unforgettable!

The apartment was a very large space, good for families. A washing machine on the third floor and two bathrooms made it very convenient. There is a darling tiny Daschund who lives next door who came and visited us every day. We had a scooter and a bicycle at our disposal, which made going to the old town very quick. The apartment is in a local area with lots of food options. There is a nice little bar called “Trang Draft Beer” that is run by a local woman right next door. Don’t be scared about how it looks. The proprietor speaks great English and offered up stories and local dishes for us tourists not familiar with real Vietnamese food. The beer is cold, food delicious, and the prices cheap. We ate here twice during our trip for under $8 USD for our family of three with three beers each. On the other hand, you can walk 1-2 km into the tourist part of town by the water and pay much higher prices.
