We love the location, the welcoming hosts, the view and the food. Very accommodating. Lovely quiet retreat. We would absolutely recommend this place. Be prepared for a 1 hour bumpy ride to get here from T5. But, beautiful scenery along the way. The staff is great. The money from the lodge goes to support a local school and clinic. All solar powered. We also loved the resident dog “Puma”. She just loved hanging out with us. The night and early morning bird sounds are something to experience. Can’t beat the view of Mt. Meru.

We booked Sangota Falls Lodge for a rest night before leaving the next day after being on Safari. The lodge's grounds are quiet and peaceful. The plants are so pretty and well taken care of. We booked meals with Joyce and they were very good. She used fresh strawberries from the gardens for parts of it! I would definitely stay at Sangota again and can confidently say it was a peaceful oasis from the noise and business of the city.

The property is amazing and very well maintained, with a charming rustic vibe. It's the perfect place to connect with nature. We truly enjoyed every moment! The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances, and towels and linens are provided. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming, always available with prompt and helpful assistance. They recommended great restaurants and offered guidance for booking various activities. Upon our arrival, the host kindly offered us fresh eggs from his chickens, and we made a delicious omelet! It was a thoughtful gesture, especially since we arrived late and didn’t have the energy to go out for dinner. We also appreciated the flexibility of late check-in and early check-out—thank you! A heads-up for future guests: the road leading to the property is quite bumpy, so an SUV is highly recommended. We rented a reliable car from our host, which we used for getting around town.
