We were contacted by the manager, who arranged our pickup from the ferry pier. Upon arrival, we were served chilled drinks and fruit, with a thorough presentation of the villa. The villa has an amazing view and is situated in a quite place but everything is easy accessible by car. We were able to walk to a nearby supermarket, the beach and a restaurant with Michelin mentions. The service is outstanding. Every morning we were met by Shun, ever smiling and professional, who would play with our baby while we enjoyed the lovely food. When we were finishing our breakfast, the manager Aeng, would stop by to coordinate with us, whether it was arranging things or simply give recommendations. All the housekeeping was tailored to fit nap times and the staff was super flexible and understanding. The chef must be a magician, and the in-house dinning, whether it was light starters or the full set menu, was prepared with excellence and beautifully arranged. Every single staff member, we met were incredibly kind and caring - the parking guard would always greed us and wish us good day or good night, the pool crew and technicians were outmost kind. We were asked about our baby’s troubled skin, and the manager recommended changing the chlorine levels of the pool, which then happened before we could spell swimming. The pool keeper measured the levels every day, and brought back all the swimming toys before we realized they were missing. Lightbulbs were changed in seconds almost before we even realized the light was missing. We tried to cancel our next stay at another hotel to stay another week, but unfortunately had to move on. We discussed whether we should kidnap Shun, because she was the star of our stay, but instead we would rather come back to the lovely place and the incredible people working there.

Also really liked that they have a voucher for two free coffees at the cutest cafe down the road which sold amazing coffee and almond crossaints.

For the final week of my trip, I set my sights on Koh Samui, searching for a centrally located place that was still peaceful and away from the crowds. After browsing countless listings and reviews, I discovered The Orchid Lodge. The photos exuded tranquility—exactly what I was looking for. Plus, the price was surprisingly reasonable for what was offered—great value for money—so I booked it without hesitation. I could go on and on about this place. Kristen, who owns and single-handedly runs the lodge (don’t be misled by the term lodge—it’s far more than that), is truly remarkable. I arrived at 10:30 PM, exhausted, and there she was, waiting with a platter of fresh fruit and a drink. Her warm smile instantly reassured me that I had made the right choice to end my vacation. The lodge itself is spotless, impeccably maintained, and has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Kristen is an incredibly kind and attentive host, taking care of every request, helping with bookings, and offering valuable insights on the best spots in Koh Samui—including hidden gems off the beaten path. Honestly, I can’t stop raving about this place to all my friends heading to Koh Samui. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning to Thailand, and when I do, Orchid Lodge Samui will be my go-to accommodation. Thank you, Kristen, for making the end of my vacation absolutely perfect!

Lennon Maison are four very modern nicely designed villas with a small kitchen where you easily can cook your breakfast. The house has a small veranda where you can sit and relax but you can also sit on the roof top which was very nice. Leni, the host, is a wonderful person who is so caring and she and her team cleans the villa as soon as you leave it for the beach. There is a private beach that belongs to the villas and there are sun-beds enough so you don’t have to go up early to reserve a bed (as you normally have to do). This has been the best stay I have ever had and I would love to come back!

Located in Taling Ngam Beach and only 200 metres from Taling Ngam Beach, Silent Palm Samui provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. Guests can make use of the picnic area or the barbecue, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. The owners of the resort were incredible!! They were very kind and very helpful with our travel needs. Assisted with transfers to and from the pier for a good price, scooters were readily available for us as well for a decent price. Very quiet area with a restaurant across the road with an amazing view. Highly recommend you stay at this resort. We will definitely be visiting here in the near future. Don't think twice, book your stay at Silent Palm Samui, you will not be disappointed. 🤩
