The owners live next door and spoke fluent english and were charming and helpful. Nearby there is a beautiful lake and some really nice old villages and hiking trails. We drove the 3 hours to the Norwegian border through some wonderful snow covered landscape and visited the skiing areas to soak up the winter atmosphere. I recommend this cottage if you want to enjoy the local hikes, lake and villages and also the nice small town of Mora.

Lovely owners, Lassie and Chia, kindly gave us a lift in their car from and to the train station and even found a sledge for my daughter to enjoy the snowy experience! The cottage itself is beautiful, comfortable and very cozy. We had a great sleep in the bunk bed and were very warm there, while there was -12 outside. We also appreciated the owners support for our country, Ukraine. It was a wonderful experience and we are looking forward to returning here in the summer.
