We toured by bus then train from Poderica to Skadar. The train is primitive. We were dropped off far outside the unannounced station at night. we jumped down from the open door onto the tracks more than a meter below with our luggage in a dark forest about 500 m. from some lights in the distance and Nancy has mobility issues. The hotel family picked us up an hour later..the station was closed. The family was gracious.

It is really close to the old city and the beach, 10-15 min by car (or bikes, if you have them, take them with you, it is fun roaming around and exploring Bar). 10**** The owner was helpful and responded quickly to our requests.
