We were able to try out all the traditional Sri Lankan food and everything was presented beautifully and tasted delicious! The rooms were large and clean, so was the rest of the villa. The pool was well looked after so a great source of fun for the kids! The area was very convenient for our visit and the owners were also nice enough to help us with a later checkout due to our night flights. Great service, great villa, fab holiday spot that served us well during our stay in Sri Lanka.

It was our first encounter with SriLanka and the German owners Edna and Alli made us feel home immediately and within no time we felt a deep sense of location and understanding of the lush environment. The lodge is based on true passion and it shows. In the people and community, the amazing local vegetarian food, the comfortable accommodation and all the activities we were able to engage in at the spur of the moment. Hiking through the rainforest and vegetation of the lodge, tasting directly from a cinnamon plant and watching pepper grow, meeting locals as they carry down the harvested tea leaves, a sunrise bike tour through hidden villages, another sunrise canyoning trip down a deserted river with the occasional local fetching sand from the river bottom, then an aryuveda massage and morning and evening aerial or hatha yoga lessons again right at the property. We felt truly part of the family and have been able to experience so much in four days. Thank you Edna and Alli for sharing your amazing life with us.
