Had a wonderful time cooking up a storm with our butcher bought hida beef. Although we didn't use the outdoor bath due to the cold, it was a nice touch. Even though the shower area was a little chilly, they provided portable heater you can wheel around as needed. And the Balmuda kitchen equipments....

It was very big and comfortable for our family. All necessary equipment (bath, laundry, towels, kitchen..);and also nice gifts 😁. It also work like a small conbini as you can buy noodle, drinks whatever you need in the house.

JR Hida Furukawa Station is within a 5-minute stroll from the property. Guests will have the entire property to themselves during their stay. Beautiful property in a very authentic place. The owner left us lots of treats and surprise since we were celebrating a birthday. This does not go un noticed and made such an impression. He explained everything about the town and the next town nearby, offers to help with reservations for dinner, and gives you all info needed in a very organized way. The futon was the most comfortable ive had so far and the duvet is amazing. Everything is of high quality. I loved the pajamas and all the little extra amenities that makes it feel like a hotel. He even leaves bath salts for soaking. I was able to check in slightly early which was very nice too .. Dinner recommendations were great, and the bakery nearby has the best mochi i have tried so far Everything was perfect and i highly recommend.
