The cabin has clean and comfortable facilities. Communication with the staff was very friendly, our keys were left in the cabin and a message was sent to us on the day indicating which one was ours. Check in and check out was very smooth.

The drive there was epic (when you have a 4x4), the arrival was magic (from the terras we saw a whale hunting fish), the view from the hottub was breathtaking (and you can hear the silence).

A TV is featured in the shared living room. We loved this amazing little cabin at the foothills of the mountains! So peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic and had incredible views. Hosts were amazing and had 2 very friendly and playful dogs. Close to a glacier which we managed to have to ourselves after a morning hot tub. Heating and hot water in the cabin was great. Beds very comfy.

Owner and his wife are super friendly. No shoes allowed in the house which is good. Owner let us cook our own dinner too! Highly recommend for family

Skalanes Nature Heritage Centre is 19 km from Langahlid Cottages, while Egilsstadir town centre is 29 km away. The hosts, Giacomo, couldn't do enough for you. Thank you! What an amazing spot, fjord views from the spa. 2km walk into town. Comfortable and tastefully furnished. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative.

The recently renovated villa has 3 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a toaster and a fridge. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the terrace, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. It's a very comfortable and beautiful place. There's all of the amenities we can possibly need. The host was a delight as well, very nice, helpful and comprehensive. Heated floor in the main entrance, café machines and drying and washing machines also available. It was a really a modern house with a comfy outlook. Comfortable beds and big nice dining table. We loved it.
