We get the property same as shown in the picture. The owner of the property, Mr. Bidyut Sarmah was truly a gentle person and was very helpful throughout our journey. Rooms and all other amenities were very clean. I would love to recommend everyone after going through this post to at least visit this place once, if you are visiting Guwahati or Maa Kamakhya Temple. The society was also neat and clean an well connected to the National Highway.Lastly, the main extra top thing was his caretaker Mr. Sailen Baishya who was available round the clock. A truly 5 star experience with home feeling ambience.

Avinash and Ritu were amazing hosts and they helped us explore the place in a very local way. They arranged a Jeep safari and an elephant safari for us. The place is calm and the birds in the morning are amazing to watch. We have also seen a few hornbills for the first time on their property. The bamboo house was no doubt an awesome thought and work of art.

The chalet has great amenities, very hot water for a wash after a big day of cycling all over Majuli, a kettle to make chai and coffee when needed, a huge room to feel so comfortable in with a lounge and two big beds. Dulce Hogar has a wonderful host family in a chalet behind this residence, who are so helpful in answering all questions regarding Majuli and maintain this wonderful clean home stay. Highly recommended.

For context we showed up in the middle of the night after our trip got cancelled. Though it was very much last minute, they took good care of us. The property is also spacious and very clean. We were a big group but we were all accomodated comfortably. In the morning they suggested some areas we could visit. It was a nice experience meeting good people in a good place.
