This cosy cottage was a great escape from the larger cities we have been travelling through. We stayed from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day and the owners even had a decorated tree in the property for us. We felt right at home and had a relaxed Christmas. It is a little gem.
Cottage is cosy, clean and beds were super comfy. Lovely to see the sea from back of house and down the lane. Lovely location, close to Bearna and Salthill. Buses from Bearna to City 424 but timetable will need to be checked as not that regular which is to be expected. Sean was super responsive to messages!
Great and beautiful location, cozy space and character of the cottage.
Very cosy cottage with a lot of space in a great location to visit the national park and/or Kylemore Abbey. Well equipped large kitchen. Nice bath in the bathroom. Comfortable and relaxing living room that makes you feel right at home. Large TV to catch up on some news (batteries of the remote need to be changed!). Silent neighbourhood with some cute farm animals. Even though it was August the cottage was heated due to cold temperatures during the night. Fantastic supermarket which can easily be reached by foot.
The Buttermilk Lodge has a perfect and quiet location just 5 minutes walk from Clifden. Our room was very cozy and comfortable with a good bed. Another big plus for this lodge are the owners. Cathriona and Patrick know what they are doing and take good care of their customers. Not to forget the breakfast: spectacular with lot`s of homemade food. We had a great time.
Quiet cottage a short drive from Galway, beaches and some nice pubs and restaurants. Accommodation was as expected and comfortable. Cozy, positive experience!
Amazing hotel. Such a great place to stay. We loved the fireplace and cosy bar. Rooms with beautiful view
We booked very spontaneously and honestly looked for the cheapest place in the area. However, after arriving, we would have gladly paid a bit more. The house is cozy and charming, the hosts were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was very nice.
Beautifully situated, charming thatched cottage. Very well equipped, nesspresso, wood for the stove, electric heaters and showers. Good wifi. Walking distance to the village, close to Galway as well as the Burren.
