The beds were so comfortable. Janine was available at all times in case we needed anything, and she popped in each day to make up the wood burner. The views around the property are stunning, even on rainy days.

It had everything we needed: a fridge, a washing machine, each bedroom and an unsuite. It was located around the corner from a supermarket and there is a nice pub nearby - The Railway House. We called the owner because we didn't know how to lock the front door (lift up the handle) and he was lovely and friendly. Would recommend.

Friendly staff, cosy bed, had a small kitchen to cook our own food. Free bottle of wine and chocolate. Our dog loved all the open area to walk and run around. Only a 15 minutes drive to Aldi if needed. It was just a tranquil relaxing stay with stunning views of the mountains out the main room windows. I've booked again so can't wait.

Horses in the yard. Lovely fireplace which kept the front room/dining area warm. Host left us eggs, milk and brown bread which was very nice.
