The last few km's to the house are a gravel road, but it was in quite good condition and perfectly doable if you have some driving experience and/or a (compact) SUV. It's completely quiet and peaceful. At night, the only thing we heard was a long-eared owl.

We loved our stay at Villa Dida, it was a wonderful property in a great location in Hvar's Old Town. Very close to the port and easy to access (although lots of stairs to get to and also in the property!). Philip was a wonderful host, meeting us at the port to check us in and answered all of our questions throughout the stay quickly and easily. I would 100% stay at this property again and think it is the better place I have stayed in my various times visiting Hvar.

It's very peaceful yet surrounded by beautiful restaurants and places to drink in a charming setting. Every inch of the interior has been carefully designed and collected by the owner who is an artist. All of this combined with a building which is 500 years old makes for a unique house. The courtyard and roof terrace are great outdoor spaces too.
