This fabulous oceanfront property includes its own restaurant, run by an outstanding chef. Lovely freshwater pool - literally like swimming in Fiji water. The garden and facilities were beautifully maintained. Short walk to some local shops for supplies. The cabins (bures) were extremely comfortable and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom amenities. The Kiwi owners and their predominantly local staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and address all and every need. Airport transfers were a treat.

Oceanfront location with proximity to other services if needed (grocery store, airport, other resort restaurants). Small number of guest cottages/guests on site. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated all of the information provided before we arrived to insure a comfortable and pleasant experience. Excellent snorkeling within a short boat ride from the property.

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Maravu Taveuni Lodge. The staff does everything to make sure you are having a good time, with local guides (Rafa and Karly) arranging and going with you on the beautiful trips all over the island (like the Bouma Waterfalls, Lavena Coastal Walk, the water slide etc). The communication with Maravu was easy and efficient. Will recommend Maravu to everyone who wants to visit the beautiful island of Taveuni.

It is the staff that make the Maravu Lodge such a nice place to stay. They are extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly and will arrange tours and activities for the many things to do on Taveuni. The food at the on site restaurant was very good too. Overall we were quite happy with the room, but it was different to what we were expecting. Most importantly we were able to sleep well and shower! Also enjoyed the view of the gardens and sea
