For any fellow backpackers that are unsure about getting there, there's a local Willy jeep from Salento to Filandia (9000 COP one way, although if you're getting in late to Salento they could be sold out so just make sure not to get caught on that.) And then in Filandia there's a local Willy jeep that goes out to the road where the ranch is on. (3500 COP one way, photo with red circle is location). The local jeep runs every day making it easy to get into Filandia and explore.
