The Silver Mist Resort is also a horse farm. A lot of beautifull Chalets located on the farm which is mordern and has a stunning ambient. We had a comfortable and quiet night there in Chalet Nr. 3 with a wonderful view on the lake. The staff is friendly and helpfull. They offer a lot of Activities like horse riding, zip lining or hiking around the Kiwi and Avocado fields of the farm. We did the guided horse riding and can absolutely recommend it. Res is a great horse trainer and we felt really safe with him. He told us a lot about the horses and the farm on the ride. Don't miss out on that when you stay there. They also have Alpaka and Sheep on the farm. A great place for travelling with children. The owner gave us good recommendations where to eat in town. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Silver Mist Resort and extended our stay :)

Everything about the place, from the wonderful homemade bread with homemade jam and butter, to the fireplace and the firewood provided. Plus the surrounding nature. It was a wonderful stay and has beautiful nature surrounding it. Along the path there are beautiful flowers too. Just amazing really. The owner is really friendly and welcoming.
