An amazing property on the outskirts of Calvinia in the hantam karoo. Spotlessly clean, beautiful white towels , and spacious. X2 bbq (braai) indoor and outdoor . Well equipped kitchen and great veranda (stoop) for relaxing , views of the hills and mountains , peaceful . Farm eggs were also provided which was a bonus. Karen was very friendly when checking in and there is a high level of security at the property. Great WiFi also

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, in a quiet street with lovely views out across the surroundings at the back. Hendrina welcomed us and was very hospitable and accommodating. The self-catering unit had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight experience, including electric blankets on the bed, hot water and great water pressure in the shower, coffee, tea and fresh milk. We could park our vehicle right outside the unit and although we did not use the braai facilities, there is an amazing braai area and verandah with a table and seating. Highly recommended for anyone staying over in Calvinia.

Die Lemoenhuis is an fantastic place to stay in Calvinia. Liz and Francois were gracious hosts, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The house is spacious, comfortable and fully kitted out with everything one might need - with a nice outside area to braai whilst looking out onto the Hantamsberg. Would highly recommended!

Very helpfull. They looked after my car until I came. Parked my car where it was easy for me to exit.
