Everyting we needed was there and more. We loved sitting at the big veranda and listen to the birds and the silence. The deer are walking through the backyard and look into the kitchenwindow🙂. Walking to the waterfront is also easy, especially with the directions our friendly host left us. You can reach the shore walking through the lush downhill forest. The waterview from the house is also stunning and changes throughout the day, caused by the moving sunlight. From this place you can easily make beautiful daytrips on Orust and Tjörn, and also to other places like Uddevalla and Smögen. And don't forget to visit Swansund, only a few km from the house ( also a supermarket) where you find a nice swim area too.

This cottage was absolutely magical! We stayed for 6 nights and would have happily stayed longer. It is in a beautiful secluded coastal area with a lovely view, and was spectacularly well equipped with everything we needed. It was warm and comfortable, and we also enjoyed splitting wood for the antique heating stove (although there is electric heating as well). The cottage was so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and as we checked in over Easter weekend the hosts had made some really special Easter touches for us, which we loved!! It is in a great location with a supermarket under 10mins drive away, and close to multiple nature reserves for hiking (there is one 15 mins drive away!) - we picked it as we were in Sweden for a hiking holiday. The hosts were wonderful, welcoming, and really helpful and responsive as well. Staying here absolutely made our holiday, so thank you!!! We would stay again in a heartbeat!
