The location is perfect so close to the town and beautiful beach area. The town still retains it's traditional feel and fishing history making it a really charming place to stay......not commercial in any aspect. A car is not really needed with the train station a 5 minute walk up the hill that gets you up and down the beautiful natural coastline ....Ria Formosa. Rosalia who met us there to check in was lovely and extremely professional always available to help if needed with a phone call. Just fabulous 👌

Though it's only 18 mins pleasant walk to the centre of the village, it feels like you're in the countryside. The private garden, just for the guest(s) staying in the small house, is a lovely oasis - especially if the wind is too strong on the beach. Antonio, the host, is very kind and helpful. He has a variety of bikes which you can rent - cycling the ecovia is very pleasant. I will stay here again
