Absolutely wonderful accommodation surrounded by nature! We had high expectations but the place outdone it all! The hosts are welcoming and helpful, fantastic big breakfast brought to your room so you can enjoy quiet and birds chirping. Air-conditioning works as a heater so you can dry wet clothes. The best after a long hike was the private jacuzzi!

I loved everything about the property. The location is one of the best on the island because the eastern, western and central areas can be very easily reached, with quick access to the main roads, and without being in quite chaotic Ponta Delgada. The house itself is a real beauty! Photos on booking.com don’t pay justice to it. The room I had was very spacious, with wooden floor and a beautiful lacquered wooden wardrobe. It was looking onto the back part of the garden and into the fields. So quiet! Awesome! Comfy bed, comfy pillows, super white soft towels. Water, biscuits, local tea bags were left in the room and the bathrooms offered free toiletries and hairdryer. Bathrooms are shared because this is a private house and not a hotel, but they are kept in immaculate cleaning conditions. Showers are hot and powerful. The guests can use the beautiful kitchen and again there is free coffee and tea available. From the kitchen there is access to a perfectly manicured garden. There are lounges and many chairs where the guests can relax outside (weather permitting!). The lady owner is super nice, I really liked her!

This is a cute, comfortable, well-remodeled home in a convenient part of Sao Miguel. We stayed as a family of 4, and my daughter said it was her favorite stay ever. The outdoor garden and showers are a nice touch coming back from the nearby beach. The host Ines is a wonderful person and was so helpful, she gave us directions, fresh bananas from her tree, and even helped get us an item we had left behind!

This place is an absolute gem! The house is stunning, the location perfect, and the atmosphere peaceful. The heated pool with ocean views was easily my favorite part. You’re just a short drive from Ponta Delgada, 5 minutes from Populo Beach for surfing, and within easy reach of the whole island. Plus, there are two natural pools right next door. Everything about our stay was incredible. A huge thank you to our host Teresa, for making everything about our stay so special. It felt like a home away from home. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Casa Cayenne is such a cozy and great place to stay at, it is really close to Ponta Delgada center by car, and you have everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. Plus it's on a pineapple greenhouse plantation, making it super unique! The garden on site from which you can pick herbs and salad is a really great addition, as is the pineapple culture tour given by Luis. Luis and Noelia are such great hosts, super welcoming ! Communication was fast and easy. Would recommend to anyone wishing to spend a few days on Sao Miguel Island.

Beautifully appointed apartment with a very convenient location. Convenient parking right at the door of the house. On the neighboring street in 2 minutes walk there is a coffee shop, grocery store with everything you need. To the city center 7 minutes on foot. The owners are super hospitable, caring like your closest friends. So careful to take care of your stay that you only want to come back here. Which we will be. Thank you so much.

The view is incredible, and it was a great experience to be in the jacuzzi and see the sunset. The facilities are pretty comfortable and clean and I found it super cozy. For some days of vacations with my partner, this property made everything more special. The owners are also quite nice and friendly.

Paulo was an absolute superb host. He informed us about the best things to do on the island. We had not any plans in advance so all the time we did things on the island that he proposed and it was absolutely awesome. He also helped us with reservations for activities and even let us sleep in the bubble for one night (there is a little bubble hotel-like room on the property). The garden as well as the view at the pool is super beautiful. The little homes are cosy and equipped with everything you need. We highly recommend this place :)

A wonderful touch was allowing each cottage a night of privacy in the hot tub/ ocean view area. Paulo went above and beyond before and during our stay to make us feel valued and pampered from helping with reservations for our rental car, whale watching tour, and anniversary dinner at a local restaurant to making us feel at home in our wonderful cottage and on the stunning ocean side property.
