Cottages in Carmen

What an amazing place to stay! The host Lorenzo and his wife Beverly made our whole trip in bohol special. From the very start Lorenzo was welcoming and friendly introducing us to the clean and spacious room we were in. Lorenzo also gave us plenty of local recommendations including restaurants and places to visit and allowed us to hire out some bikes even ging out of his way to come rescue us in a car when we were too afraid to drive back in the dark!! Everything about our stay was exceptional and Lorenzo and his family go above and beyond to make your stay a memory you will never forget, feeling more like friends than just a hotel host. We will absolutely be returning on our next visit and I cannot recommend this place enough if you are planning on going to bohol this is the place to stay, and for a very reasonable price aswell!!

Felban's Farm was quite an experience to me. I enjoyed falling asleep and awaking with the sounds of nature - didnt sleep that well since along time. In the morning i joined my very kind and hospitalbe host during his daily routine feeding all the animals at his farm (fishes, pigs, rabbits, chicken, gooses, ducks, turkey, goats and many more). Daghan salamat to my host and his friendly crew. On my next stop in Carmen i will probably visit them again :)

The kindness of the owners. The way that they wanted you to feel the place like home. We could take a coconut from the tree, and have so nice talk with the owner. It´s not just about the room it's about the experience they offer. The breakfast was really good! Eggplant with eggs, fried banana, rice, coffee....

The location is off the beaten path providing a rural vibe. Angel and his family are the most warm and kind hearted people we have had the pleasure of staying with during our time in the Philippines. While staying here you are considered family and we don’t say this lightly! The location is close by some villages, waterfalls and a short motorbike ride away from the beach. The main tourist attractions (tarsier sanctuary, chocolate hills) are a bit further away, but we loved driving around on the motorbike around the island, which you can rent from them for a very reasonable price. Angel also provided lots of tips and recommendations regarding where to eat and itineraries for exploring the island. You stay on a little farm with cute piglets, cats and a dog. Behind the cottage is a hill overlooking the island providing a beautiful view of the sunrise. Overall we can not recommend this stay enough, we had an amazing time at Bohol largely thanks to Angel and his family.

Excellent cozy place in countryside. Responsive owners. Fireflies at night as a bonus ☺️ All the best for this price.
