This 2 level mini house was great for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids aged 3y and 8y. Everything we needed was provided, lovely soaps. We didn't see anyone else during our stay, the scenery was lovely. I would stay here again, just need a tall fan for the upstairs bedroom as it was a bit warm.

Cosy comfortable studio, clean and lovely views. Modern bathroom, with hot shower and comfortable bed. Cooking on BBQ was fine, no elements or toaster but its off the grid so to be expected. Excellent communication with hosts. We enjoyed our stay.

The position of the house and the view was exceptional. We could see the surf beach, keep an eye on the bar before going fishing and go for a swim down the steps just 1 minute away. A good space for boat parking. The village shops and coffee was only a quick stroll down the road. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It had it all.

An immaculate, modern, quiet property, this home exceeded our expectations. We've stayed in many places in Mangwhai over the years, but this is our favourite! Located down a quiet cul de sac, with an unexpected, beautiful rural outlook, we were within easy walking distance of Bennetts Cafe, the Saturday markets, shops and so much more. Three bedooms, with air con in the larger room and in the main areas as well, we slept so well. Everything was spotless, with everything you could need, including a very well equipped kitchen and laundry.

The perfect place for a romantic weekend. Ruru cottage is surrounded by native bush which is home to many beautiful birds meaning the bird song is amazing. As soon as you arrive you automatically feel relaxed. The king size bed is super comfortable & the bathroom extremely spacious with a rain shower. There is a communal BBQ area with hammock, pétanque & under cover seating. A short walk takes you to a beautiful little waterfall. This is my second time staying & I absolutely love the place.
