Host was very kind, helpful and interesting. We were provided a full fridge of supplies for our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the gardens around the house were beautiful. The host also gave excellent recommendations about what to do nearby.

This is the best place I have ever stayed in. Well-equipped, very comfortable. Very spacious with lots of little touches to make it special. Walking distance into town with lots of choices for food and coffee. The gardens around the house are beautiful. I highly recommend Kew Cottage.

What a property! We absolutely adored this Cosy Kowhai Cottage! with the experience complemented by very friendly hosts! To break our journey from Hawkes Bay to Wellington - a stop in Greytown/Martinborough seemed in order. We only wish we had stayed for longer than our sole night. It was such a beautiful part of New Zealand, complemented by great places to eat and sample the delicious local wines. The house is located within a short walking distance from the main area of Greytown, down a very quiet residential and beautiful road. It is set in the loveliest garden, and although it looks smaller from outside - it is indeed a sizeable house, with 3 bedrooms (1 ensuite), 1 very large bathroom, and a fabulous large living / dining and kitchen. The layout was fabulous! There is also outdoor space, including a beautiful dining area to be utilised. Everything about this house was so well thought out - and it contained everything that you ever needed. The attention to detail was immense. We were in total awe. It was clean, comfortable and felt like a real home - and we had such a lovely time just relaxing there! Although we did not cook, the kitchen was amazing, with a utility room and a pantry! We would have loved to have had such a kitchen where we just moved from! What a beautiful place, and our only mistake was not to spend much more time here.

The house is an older style cottage which was sincerely charming, set in lovely gardens with views from the kitchen/dining windows that were most enjoyable. Big green trees, providing a lovely vista, as well as privacy. It felt like a world away from the usual busynesss. Bonus, easy walk to the shops and coffee.

A quaint, tiny but very cleverly-designed and comfortable cottage in historic Greytown. We slept soundly and then took the opportunity to visit the nearby settlers' museum - a recreated township using various buildings and artefacts from days gone by, with helpful, entertaining staff in period costume. A thoroughly enjoyable one-night stop.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting, fresh eggs for breaky with producers of said calling by and even into the cottage, No matter how hard we squeezed they would not drop directly into the pan. Highly recommend for any Wairarapa visit, easy drive to everywhere.

We had a lovely overnight stay in Ivy’s Cottage. It was cosy and quiet. The communication from Kathy was really good and easy access with the lockbox. It was a short walk into town for dinner.
