I loved staying in the middle of Patan, high up overlooking the temple roofs and the valley. The hosts were very attentive and kind. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped, with a touch of traditional style. They had great wifi and a battery for powercuts which allowed to work online comfortably.

My stay was a serene escape. The view of Kathmandu valley and the forest was beautiful, with delightful bird songs in the background. It provided a calm and fresh atmosphere for a perfect one-night getaway. The villa was clean and beds was too comfortable. I loved the most was roof top city and forest view kitchen. Highly recommended!

Magical place to stay with incredible surroundings and views. Can walk from the property to various hike trails and the surrounding monasteries and sights. The whole property is lovely, homely and welcoming. The food for breakfast and dinner is delicious. Everything is well thought out and everyone is super helpful and accommodating. The place is made even more special by the wonderful manager, Ramita, who is incredible. Would highly recommend for a place to relax, smile and make excellent memories.

A wonderful place with wonderful views of the surrounding valleys, Himalayan peaks (if there is visibility), stunning, green fruit and strawberry fields around. I dare say that the best place to reset in the Kathmandu area. Very good breakfast and a la carte dishes. Excellent and friendly service. We will definitely come back.

It was an incredible beyond any expectations experience !! My sons and I were welcomed like family into the community from the first day. We highly recommend this resort as a place to rest for a while, for those who truly wish to connect spiritually and experience what loving community in action means. Our every need was taken care of with kindness and respect and ease. This is a very special, unique place for nature lovers, artists, spiritual seekers and conscious eco friendly travellers. The food is grown in their organic vegetable gardens, the milk we drank was fresh from the cows and the people who run the resort are an extraordinary family. I cannot recommend this place more for those travellers who are seeking the real Nepal, the real spirituality and the real food. Thank you Joy resort, the name says it all !! We will be back every year if we can !!! An inspiration for us all !!
