The description on booking.com did not make it clear that I would have my own bathroom, so I was positively surprised. Large room and well-equipped kitchen.

I loved this small place. It was so extremely cosy, nice and warm, very lovingly decorated, nice warm lighting. I spend 3 nights here last week and felt almost sorry to go. The place is small, but feels just right. I read comments about the surroundings and yes it is not the most pittoresque corner of kampen ( sort of mixed residential, industrial, creative spot, harbour), but i actually liked it, and as a woman alone didnt feel unsafe at all. Right next to the river. And anyway: once inside and hearing the wind howl it felt nicely warm and protected. Great also that you can use bycycles for free, i used them to go to the city centre. Thanks for this great place! Will be back if i can

This place is special! Especially beautiful. It's simple but functional, and we found everything we needed in kitchen, bathroom, terrace and bedroom. A cool couple runs the place & has fun building, painting & furnishing everything with love and dedication. If anyone deserves our money for a stay it's them. In times of anonym mass hostels or camping sites with no other aim than earning money this is a rare sight that we'd like to appreciate and cherish. We felt very welcome and private on the little terrace and in the trailer even in this densely populated village. The river is close by, you can even stay here overnight as canoe paddlers. A great holiday region. If we ever return to these districts we would always go there again.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay in this place. Caban is small but well organized and clean. Private garden very appreciable. Parking the car nearby in the village was not a problem We arrived after checkib time however Hosts arranged so that we could do self checkin.. Supermarket and cafeteria are nearby. Vollenhove is beautifu as a village,l with very typical houses, and a nice park. I recommend !
