The property was absolutely gorgeous and very romantic with the super high ceilings and interior décor. The hosts were wonderful and communicative, and very kind to us. The property was very quiet and only about 10 minutes drive from central Maastricht. It is also walkable (perhaps a 40 minute walk), although it's not a super interesting walk, mostly just along a busy road. Beds, linens, kitchen supplies were all excellent.

We loved the fact it was at the end of the jetty, in a very quiet marina. the boat was very well kitted out spotlessly clean and wonderfully light with huge windows.

Location is excellent (near Maastricht), the facilities inside the house boat are superb (fully equiped kitchen, airco, digital TV, bathroom). The house boat is wel maintained and clean. The beds are comfortable. Surprisingly there were 2 bottles of Japanese and Chinese soy souce (ketchup) available in the kitchen's cupboard that have made our own prepared Asian dinner just more delicious. We asked for an early check in, and the owner fulfilled the request. We asked for a 30 minutes delayed check out, and the owner did not have any problem at all. The small boat we rent has made our stay more adventurous and enjoyable.

The apartment I had was spacious and clean. The bed was perfect. Shower as well. Quiet sleep. Great breakfast with lots of choices and everything you want if you are looking for an extensive buffet. It's a cozy place with fireplaces and original tableware. Coffee, tea, and fruits are permanently available. The staff is super friendly. You can leave your luggage in a closed luggage room if needed. Busses and trains at 3 min. distance.

My dog even got his own "food parlour" - a bonus touch that makes you feel at home at once. Nice place to chill, to read a book (in the comfy library next to the fireplace!), or to start off from for a walk in the city. Other positive elements were the full and fresh breakfast and the comfortable beds!
