Situated in Outjo, Tarentaal Guest Farm features accommodation with seating area. Featuring free private parking, the 2-star farm stay is 35 km from Etosha National Park Anderson Gate. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

We loved everything - this was a home away from home. Our room was gorgeously and so thoughtfully appointed - just beautiful and spacious. The pool and garden area were tranquil and so pretty (pool was very welcome). The indoor/outdoor dining and lounge area were just fabulous and comfy for lounging around rather than being stuck in your room. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were sensational - home cooking at its absolute best. So very tasty, lots of variety and plenty of food (for seconds)!! The packed brekky for taking on our self drive Etosha safari was plentiful (it actually did both brekky and lunch for us both) and was thoughtfully packed in a cooler bin to keep fresh. Peiter and Mariana have created a wonderful Guest House with such a warm and welcoming vibe. They are both lovey to chat with and learn more about their life in general. We loved absolutely everything ya out our 2 nights here and will highly recommend.

I appreciated the very game-intense drive from the gate to the lodge and the greeting by 'oubass' the giraffe. The pool on the hill (basically advertising this lodge, but sadly not bookable) was amazing and I would have loved to have been able to stay in one of the bungalows up there, alas was informed they were under 'renovation' which was incorrect. The breakfast was plentiful and served overlooking the water-hole, which was a pleasant experience.

Loved the stunning views from the pool area and the walking trail at this lodge! The garden is gorgeous and very well-maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. Would recommend for the views and warm hospitality alone!

We were not forced to eat at the restaurant however the staff went out of their way to light a fire for our braai and provided all cooking and eating utensils. Nothing was too much trouble. Charming young couple running the lodge and very friendly.

Marianna was an excellent host. We had interesting talks with her about many subjects. We enjoyed the stay at a farmhouse (animals, cosy corners, books) as a pleasant alternative to a (more anonymous) lodge.

Small and cozy family run lodge with a spectacular view. Many thousand hectares of private wilderness around, home-made tasty local style game food (zebra’ goulash) but the biggest asset of the place are the owners - Cindy and Helmuth! The opportunity to sit and dine with them, to small-talk with them, to see a little and understand better they way of living, their problems and point of view for many things was a great pleasure and honor for us. I will come back. Helmuth promised to teach me hunting.

an unexpected stop here due to car troubles turned into a lovely oasis. Staff went out of their way to assist us and even upgraded us to a gorgeous self catering cottage while we waited for our car to be fixed. Thankyou so much ❤️
