The house was spacious enough for our whole family, very comfortable, and clean. The host was kind enough to prepare a welcome snack for us, and even set up a small pool for the kids. There’s also a BBQ pit available, which is a nice touch. We stayed for one night before our trip to Redang, and it only took about 15–20 minutes to reach the jetty. The location is convenient too, with restaurants and shops nearby.

This property is across the road from the beach. On a Friday morning there is a market from 8am-noon. It brings the area alive as it is more on the quieter side during the week. The beach is quieter during the day, likely because of the head, but you will see some families enjoying it in the evening. We noticed not many people swim here though! There are restaurants nearby which serve traditional food and local delicacy. There are some more modern restaurants a few mins drive away (Bayou Beach Cafe, Manis Laut, Pizza Bara). The host was very helpful and welcoming! She offered us laundry free of charge and informed us of the market.
