It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel for a safari tour. The owner was very helpful. Gave me information what to see in Tissa. He was extremely kind and honest. Not only did he prepare breakfast at 4 a.m., before jeep picked me up, he also let me store my big bag during safari in my hotel room for entire day! He also informed me that I paid much higher price for half day safari on TripAdvisor, so when I complained, they gave me not half day, but full day for free. Furthermore, he arranged a cheap transport for me after safari to Hiriketiya. The room was clean with AC. I am very happy and can't recommend this a accommodation and owner more.

The Cabanas are surrounded by a beautiful garden, located in a quiet neighborhood. We also booked the safari tour through them which was super value. Great breakfast pack and an enthusiastic guide.

The food was great. The owner and his son were really welcoming and friendly. The booked all my safaris and possible for them to book transfers. The Safari driver on the first day was lovely really knowledgeable- the second day- the driver was really great at spotting animals but drove very very fast lol Would recommend to anyone going to Yala The property is very well maintained, they can arrange anything for you - the pool was great.

Outstanding facilities, an incredibly well maintained pool , spotless rooms and toilets . We stayed here for 2 days they have been cleaning them literally every single time we left the house. There is literally nothing else we could have ask for this place heaven in earth. But that’s just the house itself what have make this trip unforgettable , the Staff Randi our main host is an amazing man who have been taking care of us from minute one . The rest of the staff are always looking to make your trip as easy as possible from giving you welcoming drinks to have you hop in this tuk-tuk to show you his beloved city . If you are in Yala this place is a must.

The treehouse is a gem. Having built treehouses for my children and when I was a kid, this is my absolute dream come true. It is beyond anything I had imagined. Perched over the river it is solidly constructed with artistry and imagination. Saman, the host, has put so much love into the garden and treehouses, creating a tranquil and magical energy. He’s also an incredibly kind and welcoming host. You must come - it is truly special if you live nature.

The tuk tuk tour is a MUST- it was the highlight of our stay! Yala safari tour was good too but we saw more animals with the tuk tuk ride :D plus he took us to the most beautiful temples and hidden places! The staff was amazing, we could always ask for what we want for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Thank you for your hospitality!

What was supposedto be just a short pre-safari stay turned out to be a very nice experience. Staff makes you feel literally like at home and cottage's restaurant is a big plus. We had a lovely dinner by the lake just under coconut palms. Rooms are clean, spacious, equipped with AC. And swimming pool is a must after a warm day or a safari! We were very happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Our stay here was amazing! The hotel is located in the beautiful countryside. There is a lake around it and buffalos. The room was very big and clean. But what makes this hotel the best is the staff! Everyone was so nice and friendly! They organised a romantic dinner outisde for us, we felt like in a fancy restaurant! The food was just delicious in a reasonable price. We highly recommend choosing this hotel!

The warm welcome from the staff set the tone for the rest of the stay. Start is extremely warm, friendly and helpful. The place is beautifully located in the rice fields, close to Yale national park. The pool is great to relax after a safari. Cottages are cozy, warm water boiler in the shower works perfectly well, beds are very comfortable and have a mosquito net covering them. Food is freshly prepared and tastes brilliantly. The hotel manager arranged a taxi for us to get to our next destination, which was super kind.

This place looks like a paradise, and the friendliness and kindness of the whole staff makes the time unforgettable. The food was amazing, the massage was just perfect and the bungalow was wonferful and cosy.

The location is like a dream. It's small and cosy and has everything to make you more than comfortable. The view overlooking the rice fields is amazing, the little cottage is beautifully decorated and the staff is super friendly. Lahiru, thanks for taking such good care for us.
