Everything was perfect! The place was clean has a very homey vibe. Host Nalin made our stay more memorable and enjoyable. You will be lost in the forest after 15 minutes drive from Kandy. You will see the mountains, you will hear the birds when you wake up. The hotel provided an extra bad for our daughter - nice. The ambience and welcome were in colonial tradition. We had the 7 course dinner which was good after a relaxing day at the pool. Women in traditional dresses were collecting tea leaves from a small tea plantation in front of our chalet.

We had a wonderful stay, next time we stay a bit longer to enjoy all the fancy facilities of the property. Chaminda is a really lovely host, his communication is fantastic, sent lots of information before we checked in and was always on hand with help and recommendations from the moment we arrived in Sri Lanka, even helped organize taxis and restaurant recommendations before we even arrived in Kandy, we could not ask for more from a host. The villa is beautiful, with a green garden area with an open terrace and lounge. Among the facilities at this property are fully equipped kitchen facilities and guests can enjoy their own cooking free Wi-Fi throughout the property. If you are in Kandy and want a peaceful out of town stay, this villa is for you 👌

The property and room are as described. I found that it met my needs.The bed and pillow were very comfortable and I slept well. It was possible to rest and relax at this accommodation. The location is truly spectacular, such a beautiful part of the world. I experienced the owner as kind, friendly, and a person of integrity. I was also offered a lot of helpful information about interesting places to visit in the local area. I felt very much at ease and twice extended my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Heritage Haven and hope to return in the future.
