Fantastic staff and food. We were really well looked after. We were upgraded for our room. It was spacious with a working hot shower and a bath, a first for us in Sri Lanka. We arrived just as it started to rain heavily so didn't explore the area. It was about a mile from the train station but on the edge of Hatton with fantastic views over the hills and tea plantations. No need to use A/C.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The place is incredibly cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to the amazing view each morning was a highlight—it truly added something special to the experience. The rooms were spotless and very well maintained, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable. On top of that, the owner was so kind and helpful, which made me feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!

Hand down one of the BEST hotels ive stayed in Sri Lanka. I have stayed in many hotels across the world and this one stands out as truly amazing. A hidden gem. Firstly the property is immaculate! Clean and beautiful! The scenery is breathtaking, we couldnt stop taking videos of it from the balcony, the garden and inside. Bathroom is huge, overlooking the scenery. Fresh flowers in bathroom and dining table. It smells very nice as soon as you walk in. Location is very convenient. But what has trully blown us away is the service. The staff are on another level. Firstly they message you with information before you even reach. Once u reach you receive royalty treatment with a smile! Shameera is always available to help, assisted us in ordering food and arranged to light a bonfire for us in the garden with blankets. We enjoyed the stars and warm fire, very cosey. They even gave us a special surprise at the end of our stay. I honestly wish i could stay longer and will definitely return. It is worth every penny.

Amazing Resort in the middle of the jungle! Perfect to stay if you want to visit Aberdeen and Laxapana Waterfalls. You get exactly what you expect from the photos. Rishad, the owner was very friendly and supportive and will definitely help with anything you needed - meals, parking, locations etc. Highly recommended for both locals and foreigners who expect a great customer service.

An original Tea Planter's Bungalow with original features still in place. The diligent & caring manager Rimus is working on ways to enhance & update these features . An Idyllic location surrounded by well kept gardens amidst the tea plantation . Delicious food all cooked with fresh ingredients by chef Gunuratnam & ably assisted by Saga . A great team who we were sad to say goodbye to after 5 glorious days. Highly recommended for a truly iconic experience.
