Paolo was a great host. He gave us a brilliant map of Florence with tonnes of info on places to eat and explore. He gave us a quick apartment tour and left us to it. His apartment is really well located and maintained, a short walk from most of the main sights and from the train station.

A really comfortable house for 4 people. The aircon was fantastic. The bottles of water left in the fridge were a very welcome gift. The shower was comfortable The bed was spacious & comfortable. It was very quiet considering how close to the airport we were. The neighbourhood was quiet.

We stayed in the studio apartment for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment and the entire building are beautifully designed — modern yet full of charm, preserving the history and heritage of the place. The apartment was very comfortable, and the mattress was excellent. We arrived in Florence by car, and the owner kindly allowed us to park in the building’s parking area, even though the apartment doesn’t officially include parking. The location was perfect for us — we didn’t need to drive into the city center, and all the main attractions were easily accessible on foot or by public transport.

Perfect, perfect location! Of course, a car is nice, but bus #7 travels very well too. In and out of Florence and further up to Fiesole. In between San Domenico and Badia's EUI facilities. Removed from the main road. Quiet. Garden. Spacious. Cosy. Good bed. Real kitchen. Hot shower. Being Dutch: nice price. What else????
