Such a beautiful spot. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating, and the view is absolutely stunning — especially at sunrise and sunset. The private pools are amazing, and the warm temperature makes them perfect for a nighttime swim. The rooftop views are excellent for sunset viewing. The family who owns & manages the property go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay - including a lovely cooked breakfast (with meal and juice choices) and will also cook other meals throughout the day for you- we did not need to leave and had every meal cooked by the family - was lovely. Gede took us on a jeep sunrise tour - very enjoyable. The whole place has a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere and was the ideal spot to unwind. I’d definitely come back.

Really nice place with great hosts. Brothers who are taking care of this place are really helpful and open for support in any different cases. They also share knowledge about the history and culture of this region. Nice bathroom with warm water, nice breakfast, clean room. They also organize very nice trips, eg. volcano hiking (better to ask for one of brothers to be a guide as they act as real guides).

Our host was Yudi, a very kind, respectful, and helpful guy who helped us in every aspect i.e. getting dinner very late when we arrived, organising a taxi with his friend for us in the middle of the night to get to our Mt. Batour sunrise tour pickup point and just in general he was very easy to be around and we felt he cares about us.

we had amazing stay here, great experience, especially the welcome from the host which was very exception. The villa itself was clean, well equipped with good design, style, beds and rooms were comfortable. They also have a parking spot which is a very big plus if you drive in Bali.

The photos that advertise these parts of the house are really very professionally taken. So you shouldn't set your expectations TOO high. It corresponds absolutely to the facts, not that I hiker is misunderstood. 😉 Only a 9 because a) The apartment was not kept to the high standard, for example there is no option to hang up your clothes b) There is also an increased need for cleaning, especially in the kitchen area c) In my opinion you can't really cook there anyway, there are a lot of things missing d) When it is windy it drafts in the apartment, which I personally (!) found unpleasant. Personally, I also lacked a refrigerator, but I was allowed to used that one from the staff. Thanks for that. 🙂 As I understand, the apartment is powered by spring water, which is of course pretty cool. The breakfast that was delivered was very tasty. And the staff very friendly and helpful.

It corresponds absolutely to the facts, not that I hiker is misunderstood. 😉 Only a 9 because a) The apartment was not kept to the high standard, for example there is no option to hang up your clothes b) There is also an increased need for cleaning, especially in the kitchen area c) In my opinion you can't really cook there anyway, there are a lot of things missing d) When it is windy it drafts in the apartment, which I personally (!) found unpleasant. The hosting family is amazing. They are so friendly and helpful, the food is great and the cabins are spacious and clean. Beds are incredible and fresh water is provided. Although a bit hidden, the location is perfect to do the Mt Batur trekking. Would definitely recommend staying at Pondok Bali Cottage - they will have a pool soon to cool of after your trekking.

Staying at Pondok Bali Cottages was a true highlight of my stay on Bali. Firstly because Wayan, Angga and family are so warm and welcoming and helpful in every way. It felt like family, a feeling of home 🙏🩷 The valley is magical and the cottages so cozy and comfortable. Lovely food. Loved every second of it and will surely return when being back at Kintamani! Highly recommended 🍀 thank you Wayan, Angga and all of Kintamani family 🤗🙏
