The apartment was absolutely lovely — bright, super clean, and really well thought out. It was perfect for four people, with plenty of space and everything we could possibly need. You could tell the host put a lot of care and attention into every detail. Both the garden and the interior of the apartment were tastefully and carefully decorated. Even before we arrived, the host sent us detailed guides full of local tips — places to visit, things to see, and recommendations on where to eat. That alone made us feel very welcomed. From the very first moment of our stay, the host was always available, checking in and offering help whenever we needed it. Whether it was a small question or something we weren’t sure about, the host responded quickly, kindly, and with genuine care. We truly felt looked after every step of the way. Also worth noting, if you're visiting in warmer months: the nearest beach is just a 30–35 minute drive away. The apartment is located just beside the impressive Thessaloniki Byzantine Walls, giving a unique historic touch to the neighborhood. The Heptapyrgion and the historic Ano Poli (Upper Town) area, including the Vlatadon Monastery, are all within walking distance. The route offers beautiful views and a chance to experience Thessaloniki’s rich history. Some parts of the path can be steep and uneven, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Just a short walk down from the main street, there’s a small, cozy historic bar tucked away on a corner, adding to the neighborhood’s unique atmosphere. If we remember correctly, we were told it’s the oldest bar in Thessaloniki. It honestly felt less like staying in a rental and more like being hosted by a friend. We’re incredibly grateful and thankful for the experience and would definitely choose this place again!

big and comfortable villa, nice and helpful owner.

The villa has a great history (worth checking it out), and is really beautiful. It has airconditioning throughout which was a lifesaver during the current heatwave. The owner and his son are great. Very few times in my life have I come across hosts that absolutely go out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They made arrangements for us for transport, and was always a message away to help with any question we had about the city or any help we needed getting around, finding services or places around the city. Thank you!

Our stay at Villa Doxia was excellent. The apartment was very clean and spacious, giving us maximum comfort. We especially loved the beautiful garden with a grill, perfect for relaxing evenings in complete peace and quiet. Everything was just great – the surroundings, the facilities, and the atmosphere. The sea is within easy walking distance, which makes the location truly perfect. A special thanks to our host Alexandros, who was amazing and fulfilled all our requests with kindness and care. We would be happy to come back again in the future.

It’s located on a quiet and peaceful street, just two blocks from the beach – perfect for morning walks and easy beach access. The large veranda was a great place to enjoy breakfast, relax in the evening, or spend time with family and friends. The neighborhood felt very safe and calm, ideal for both couples and families. Our host was extremely kind and helpful, always available and attentive to our needs. There was also convenient on-site parking, which is a big plus during the summer season. Shops, cafés, and restaurants are all nearby. We felt right at home from the very first day. This place truly exceeded our expectations.
