We liked everything about this lovely little rural retreat. The property was in excellent repair, spotlessly clean and the furnishings and decor were stylish and good quality. The surrounding garden with its four hens and bird boxes were lovely - we even saw a hare run across the garden. Janet and her husband were excellent hosts, helpful, friendly and informative when apppropriate but otherwise unobtrusive. There is a Spar shop not too far away by car in one direction and a village pub about three quarters of a mile away in the other. Extremely handy!

This was truly an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this property! ​The house was wonderfully warm and impeccably clean making us feel instantly comfortable. It is a very nice house, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for our stay. ​The communication from the host was exceptional— incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. A huge bonus was the flexibility with checkout time, which was greatly appreciated and made our departure stress-free. ​We would happily stay here again!
