We liked the spaciousness of apt. and that it was decorated for Xmas. Comfy beds. A lovely living room although it is unfortunate the fireplace hasn't been converted to electric, so it is not usable. Parking was available. Walking distance to shops and grocery .

Our family of 5 enjoyed our time at Sandy & Henry's home. We walked around the beautiful and safe neighborhood using the hand drawn map in the dining room. Because most stores closed at 6pm, we spent our evenings playing board games (some supplied by the hosts), talking and laughing in the spacious living room/4th bedroom. Roomy bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen/dining room were all furnished and supplied with everything you need for your stay. Our kids, in their 20s, enjoyed the snacks and drink left by the hosts. They loved having their own bathrooms and being able to sleep in late. Sandy and Henry quickly responded to any questions we had. Could not have asked for better hosts.

There were lots of restaurants around the area, one we particularly liked was Patron Tacos and Cantina. The sauna and hot tub was a nice experience to have. Great walks around the Sea Wall and 30 minutes easy work to Downtown or a Number 5 Public Bus. Facilities in the room were great and after 3 weeks travelling around the washing machine & dryer were a bonus. Kitchen had everything one could need & a Safeway across the road made self catering easy. Plenty of restaurants nearby to cater for all tastes. The one bedroom suite was charming and exactly as it was in the photo.
