The most friendly hosts one can imagine. Bosveldrus in Vaalwater serves as our anchor point in Northern SA from now on. We would come back anytime. Our condo was spotless clean. A cosy bed, a quiet environment and a beautiful yard to chill made out stay very enjoyable. The whole family proved themselves as trustable guides for any kind of question about the area and beyond. Even assisting in finding (non existent ;) issues with our 4x4. Fully recommended.

Our stay at the Riverine Lodge exceeded all our expectations. When we booked, we were like "surely, this looks too good to be true?", but it was all we could ever wish for! The food was amazing, the staff was super friendly and our room and lodge were truly an oasis. However, our guide was what made our trip unforgettable. If you have the pleasure and honour to be guided through Welgevonden by Simon, you are really really lucky and I'm quite jealous of you! He is the kindest, most knowledgeable and friendliest guide we've ever came across. Please show him all the love! Long story short, whenever you get the chance; book this stay ASAP!

The lodge is simply stunning. The cabin/bedroom is spacious and clean, with an amazing view of the bush. The staff is welcoming and very professional. I've had a great massage in the spa—highly recommended! Our guide (Ricardo) was the best. He's passionate about his work, knowledgeable, and professional.
