Just wow ! What an incredible tranquil, high end, small boutique hotel. Amazing big rooms, fantastic staff, extensive breakfasts and great lunch and dinner options. Beautiful gardens and a refreshing pool. If you are looking for a peaceful place to reconnect with yourself and nature: don't look any further. They will even open a spa soon. This manor house ticks all hospitality boxes. Highly recommended.

The room was so lovely honestly the pictures doesn’t give it any justice and Omgosh outside.. their trees was such a view and I loved that they put in fresh flowers everyday for decoration from their garden. Breakfast was soo lovely and their staff were excellent and soo accommodating.

This was my second visit to the Lodge. I enjoyed it the first time (a couple of years ago) but, if anything, it was even better this time round. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and extremely good value. The pool was lovely (actually, there seem to be three of them!) The evening meal (a la carte) was delicious, the bar was lovely and the breakfast (included in the accommodation fee) was amazing: a buffet with a massive choice of fresh and cooked ingredients, juice, cereal, tea and coffee. I went for a short walk in the evening and immediately encountered two giraffes and a kudu cow, and then, two minutes later a pair of bushbuck. There was plenty of spoor around too - notably that of zebra (which I saw on my last trip), and the frog and bird calls were lovely. Vervet monkeys come into the accommodation area so you'll almost certainly see these on your visit. Added to all this, the staff were great!

Wow I liked the property, security guard from entrance was helpful , location was easy to find , Property was clean and in perfect condition, we wish we had stayed a few more day , I can see it’s under construction and I can’t wait to come back after everything is completed just to stay again because I see there is something nice cooking.. 🤩🤩🤩

The view is out of this world .Yousee the beauty of nature and the quiet moment where nothing matters but Nature only.. Travelling though Mogobaskloef is one experience that everyone will never regret The city is also very clean and that is commendable. Hiking is one activity that one can do It is very easy to move around Tzaneen and there are plenty of locations that you can enjoy delicious meals

The place is very spacious and calm.

The place is very spacious and calm. The full fridge/freezer was very welcome becaus we were on our way to Kruger Park and had our meat with us. Loved the privacy. Friendly host and help to locate a shop.

I love travelling to this area, it is a beautiful, clean town with a little bit of paradise mixed in. The mountain scenery is surreal and the people of this town are very friendly and most helpful. This town is filled with history and heritage.

The surrounding area, especially the Magoebaskloof, is...

The surrounding area, especially the Magoebaskloof, is beautiful and has exceptional nature. There are also good restaurants and coffee shops in Haenertsburg and in the Kloof. But it is not worth visiting the town, Tzaneen itself. Lots of accommodation is available. Beautiful hiking trails. It is a place to relax in nature and to get some rest for your soul. The kunefe dessert at Habibi restaurant is the best.

The town of Tzaneen itself is note interesting or pretty at all but the outlying areas particularly the Magoebaskloof and its many trails and natural sites and the charming little village of Haenetsberg are truly worth a visit. The forest trails are really lovely.

We enjoyed going to the Lion and Predator Park at Letaba...

We enjoyed going to the Lion and Predator Park at Letaba River Resort. It was only 6km from where we stayed ( Palmwag Tzaneen).There are no nearby restaurants around the area,we had our delicious meals at the lodge.The kids enjoyed swimming and playing around the yard with the friendly host.

The view is absolutely stunning. The hotel is very unique with its old world charming decor. The breakfast had so many options to choose from. The rooms are large with lounge chairs and all kinds of extra luxury items in the bathroom and bedroom. Its a very special place. Its wonderful to enjoy the nature sounds in the peaceful setting. We asked to eat dinner on the balcony outside the restaurant and the staff were very obliging.

What a beautiful and calm place. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. As for the accommodation itself, the beauty and antiques were extremely breathtaking. We have officially concluded that this will be our home stay whenever we are in Tzaneen. What an amazing experience.

I have stayed at Tamboti Lodge on two previous occasions. It's a lovely guest house with very nice facilities and a good breakfast, all at a very reasonable price. This is the reason we stay here if travelling through Tzaneen.
