Clean, modern and comfortable rooms, that superseded my expectations by far! Good food and friendly staff in the restaurant!

Everything in this place is excellent, from the very comfortable room to the amazing restaurant, where a gorgeous buffet is served every night, with international and African dishes. We also took advantage of the included game drives and of the SPA, it was definitely a spotless stay.

Our stay was AMAZING! 3 days of exceptional experience in the middle of Pilanesberg reserve. 4 safaris with 4 different guides, all them really nice and attentive. The rooms are confortable, shower is delicious. The hotel is really KIDS FRIENDLY, with mini golf, tennis, pools, kids parks, chest, etc. Food was surprisingly good! It was my husband's birthday and they were nice to bring him a happy birthday cake. Elephants drank water in front of the restaurant. Amazing stay!

Staying at the lodge was a very special and unforgettable experience. Location: the lodge is in an amazing picturesque location, secluded but still accessible for beautiful animals. We were welcomed by a giraffe on the way to the location and then we saw gazelles and impalas during sunrise too. Was so lovely! Also it is very close to the game reserves in the area, perfect! Facilities: The Lodge was so nice, we had a really nice spacious tent with a bathroom where even warm water was provided for showers and filtered water for drinking. We had a fridge and kitchen facilities so we could make our own food. There was also a swimming pool. Breakfast and dinner: we also ordered breakfast which was great and we asked if we can have dinner too. Anton himself (who runs the lodge) with his lovely company made us unforgettable barbecues every night. His hospitality is out of this world! He made us feel like we were at our best friend's house. He made us real South African specialities for a really reasonable price such as braai which were home made and tasted like heaven. We stayed at the campfire till late and talked long about everything with them. Was absolutely fantastic, it felt like we visited family. Our kids enjoyed it so much too as they could play with their kids. Anton is very knowledgeable, he helped us with so much information regarding excursions and he knows every animal and tree in the Pilanesberg park. He even does walking tours. He is such a great host, really took care of us and I could not recommend him and his lodge enough. He even organised some souvenirs for the kids that they adored. The only negative is that we could not stay longer. Thank you for this wonderful stay Anton, I hope we will see you again but we will definitely keep you all in our hearts forever.
