Great welcome from Iona on our arrival and the apartment is furnished with so many food items - more than we have seen or could ever use. Fridge had milk, yogurt, grapes and fruit juice. Wonderful, colourful accomodation in a great location close to bars, restaurants, stores and sights. All the staff members are lovely but a special thanks to Annie who gave us some nice tips about the area. Rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The beds are very comfortable and shared bathrooms are clean. Lots of nice places to sit, drink, chat or just chill around the shared indoor and outdoor spaces. Pool is a bonus when it is really hot. The whole place has lots of very colourful pieces of art/crafts, it looks wonderful. Thanks for a lovely stay, highly recommend

Easy access to Cape Agulhas with a 5 minute drive which...

Easy access to Cape Agulhas with a 5 minute drive which enables visits to the lighthouse, the southernmost tip of Africa, the shipwreck and an enjoyable hiking trail. The beach at Struisbaai is amazing and reputed to be one of the longest in the Southern Hemisphere. Miles of pristine sand made for a very enjoyable walk and then returning to the very active harbour to sit and watch the fishing boats come and go, Grab a milkshake or beer at the Harbour Cafe and sit and watch the world go by!!! Very relaxing.

Struisbaai is a wonderful place to stay, it is small and has all the facilities one could need, restaurants, shopping, chemist etc. I loved the harbour, and being a photographer this is a wonderful place to stay. It also has beautiful beaches and lots of places to walk, I felt safe at all times.

The shops is very close to our destination, lots of places to eat, we had break fast at the Old cape restaurant on the Main road, The air is very clean and healthy to breath in, and its very easy to get around Struisbaai, up to Cape Agulhas points, via the main road.

Struisbai is one of my favorite places to visit every year.i love that it is not overcrowded and the kindness of the locals. My children are safe and I feel at ease for them to take walks on their own. Our favorite spot is the Harbour.

Struisbaai has the essence of providing a well for filled vacation. The serenity that surrounds the town meets the clear turquoise ocean with its soft white beach sand allows one to smile and appreciate the simplicity of beauty. To have a few wild stingrays swimming everyday very close to shore was a great sighting. Our time didnt allow us to sample a few restuarants but the ones we did try were amazing. This was our 1st time in Struisbaai and it was a beautiful experience, Yes our time was very short so i cant wait to experience a longer stay. But i'm pretty sure Struisbaai wont disappoint.

Such a well-kept little villa with all the amenities needed to be home away from home. It was very comfortable. The location is quaint and quiet. Although not directly on the beach front, there is a lovely view of the ocean. We hosted an aunt from the UK, and she loved the few days spent there, and so did my kids. The hostess, Jessie, was friendly and easy to communicate with. Will love to stay there again when back in Struisbaai.

The whole stay was fantastic. Glaudine surprised us with the food in the fridge for a breakfast as well picknick items and a semi-packed picknick basket! She had a whole list of things to do in the area and we would have extended by a few days if we did not have pre-committments back in Cape Town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Struisbaai and will be back!

Excellent location on a hilltop. Good views of the coastline. Immaculately designed. Two large rooms with heated blankets which was a nice addition for winter. Excellent bathrooms with rain showers and nice shower amenities. Cosy open plan kitchen-diner-living room area with a semi-exterior Braai area. Definitely recommend this house for Struisbaai.
