We had a great stay at the Sabie Guest House. We had a short stop on a road trip south and the Guest House was perfect for us. The room was lovely with a comfy bed and huge claw-foot bath. We were greeted on arrival and given a tour of the property which offered lots of facilities including a lovely pool and outdoor bar area. As we had an early start in the morning, we were given a very nice packed breakfast to take with us, which we really appreciated. We were also given an excellent recommendation for a dinner restaurant in town, which was very close by.

Everything about this place was truly exceptional. The house was spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained, and the view was absolutely breathtaking , I genuinely didn’t want to leave. It was great to see all the sights around the area such as Bourkes Potholes, Mac Mac Falls, Graskop & Gods Window which we hadn’t seen for over 30 years. However I wouldn’t stay in Sabie again & would have preferred a farm or country house to stay at.

Sabie is a wonderful little town, there are so many beautiful waterfalls in the area and very close to the most beautiful view on earth like God's window and the Blyde River Canyon. It is also very close to Kruger so you get the best of both worlds.

About an hour away from most attractions. Beautiful views. Very relaxed. Clean town. Best part is the fresh air. Nature at its best. Lots to see. The wild fig tree is an amazing place to eat. Petena pancakes was a delight and something different.

Beautiful place to immerse in natural surroundings & especially the several waterfalls to feast. Halaal Wimpy is less than 5min away. Spar/Shoprite and so many other small convenient stores close by. Many scenic highlights along the Panaromic route to explore eg. Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, three Rondavels etc

Viewing of the waterfalls has to be carefully planned. As a wheelchair user, you cannot gain access to most of the falls. Take enough fluids wherever you go, it's really hot and humid. Don't think you'll find dinner on a Sunday afternoon, after 1 everything closes. Buy whatever you need Saturday. Some road conditions are terrible, but can be accessed by a lower vehicle. Just drive very slowly. The bookstore in town is definitely a big winner and should be visited.

Well out of Sabie township in a low crime area blessed with street trees. Had access to laundry facilities. Three lovely large beds to choose from. Wifi worked well throughout. Comfortable lounge and secure front porch to watch the monkeys wander amongst the neighbourhood.
