Butjani lodge is a beautiful place to stay to escape the hustle & bustle of the city. Melissa & Owen (and the other staff) could not do enough for us. Melissa prides herself on providing mouth watering meals that are both inventive and enjoyable. Owen does a fabulous game drive early evening which is informative and enjoyable. He’s also a pretty good bar man! The lodges were comfortable, clean, with super comfy pillows & mattress. The bathroom was a dream with all amenities, including a great bath & a bonus outside shower. Tea, coffee & homemade biscuits provided were a delight in a morning & after the game drive. We will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

There wasn’t a fault, everything was done so well and looked so beautiful. We loved the layout of our room, all facilities were modern and well kept and we can’t get over the 10/10 service. The place was impeccably clean with friendly staff who were always attentive and ready to assist. The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful, offering breathtaking views from the pool. The villa we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous, well put together and everything we had hoped for and more, the decor and furniture was just exquisite. Everything lived up to and beyond expectations based on photos. A lot of thought and personal touches went into everything, loved the family story touch, it gave a connection and sense of familiarity to the owners which made the place feel more like home. The whole place is really peaceful, relaxing and private, just the perfect place for a romantic getaway, you never need to leave for anywhere else once you are there. :)

I loved absolutely everything. Guesthouse is just a name. Practically, it is a hotel. I stayed for 3 days and felt absolutely amazing. The work put in the place is evident and extremely impressive.
